Job Description:

A supportive and well-organised primary school in Newhaven is seeking a KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis from January. The school has a strong focus on early learning, clear classroom routines, and a positive, child-centred ethos. Teaching Assistants are well supported and work closely with class teachers on a daily basis.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting pupils during whole-class learning
  • Working with small groups and individuals
  • Supporting early literacy and numeracy
  • Promoting positive behaviour and engagement
  • Assisting with classroom organisation and routines

Requirements:

  • Experience working within KS1
