Job Description:

Justteachers are seeking a committed Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive SEND school in Sale. This specialist setting supports children aged 2–19 with a wide range of SEND needs, offering an inclusive, nurturing, and child‑centred environment. This is a short‑term, temporary position with an immediate start running up until end of April.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver inclusive, engaging lessons that are carefully adapted to meet a wide range of learning needs, including cognition and learning difficulties, sensory and physical challenges, ASC, ADHD, and other complex requirements
  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and wider colleagues to create a supportive and effective learning environment
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils, taking time to understand their individual needs, strengths, and motivators
  • Uphold the school’s values and contribute to maintaining its inclusive and nurturing ethos

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Essential experience working with children in a school or similar educational setting
  • Demonstrated experience supporting students with SEND, including Autism and a range of additional needs
  • Ability to remain calm, patient, and composed when managing challenging situations
  • A strong dedication to supporting children’s learning, progress, and overall development
