Job Description:

Justteachers are seeking a committed Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive SEND school in Sale. This specialist setting supports children aged 2–19 with a wide range of SEND needs, offering an inclusive, nurturing, and child‑centred environment. This is a short‑term, temporary position with an immediate start running up until end of April.

Job Responsibility:

Deliver inclusive, engaging lessons that are carefully adapted to meet a wide range of learning needs, including cognition and learning difficulties, sensory and physical challenges, ASC, ADHD, and other complex requirements
Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and wider colleagues to create a supportive and effective learning environment
Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils, taking time to understand their individual needs, strengths, and motivators
Uphold the school’s values and contribute to maintaining its inclusive and nurturing ethos

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Essential experience working with children in a school or similar educational setting
Demonstrated experience supporting students with SEND, including Autism and a range of additional needs
Ability to remain calm, patient, and composed when managing challenging situations
A strong dedication to supporting children’s learning, progress, and overall development
