Job Description:

Affinity Partnerships is supporting Bedelsford School in recruiting a committed Key Stage 1 Teacher to start immediately. This role is ideal for a teacher with experience supporting pupils with complex needs and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and who can implement positive behaviour strategies confidently and consistently.

Job Responsibility:

Teach a small KS1 class within a nurturing specialist setting
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
Use effective positive behaviour approaches to support pupils’ emotional and social development
Work closely with therapists, support staff, and families
Create a safe, inclusive environment where pupils with complex needs can thrive

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs considered
Experience working with pupils with ASD and/or complex learning needs
Strong understanding of positive behaviour support
Creative, patient, and adaptable teaching style
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to inclusive, child‑centred practice
