Exciting Opportunity for KS2 Teachers in Blackburn Primary Schools! Are you an experienced or newly qualified KS2 Teacher looking for a fresh opportunity this October? A dynamic and supportive primary school in Blackburn is seeking a dedicated teacher to join their team and help inspire, challenge, and nurture pupils across Key Stage 2. Job Responsibility:

  • Delivering engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
  • Supporting children with varying needs, including SEND
  • Promoting positive behaviour and a safe learning environment
  • Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching accordingly
  • Maintaining strong communication with parents, colleagues, and leadership
  • Contributing to the wider school community and activities

Requirements:

  • QTS, PGCE, or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Recent KS2 classroom experience
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum
  • Confident classroom management and positive approach to behaviour
  • Two references from the last five years (including one safeguarding reference)

Nice to have:

A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply - we can help)
