Job Description:

Are you a dedicated and flexible primary teacher looking for supply work starting in September 2024? Join our dynamic and supportive school community in Redhill, Surrey, and make a positive impact on young learners across various classrooms!

Job Responsibility:

  • Adaptability: Quickly adapt to different classroom environments and teaching styles to meet the needs of each school
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to achieve their best
  • Student Support: Provide assistance and support to students, ensuring their educational needs are met
  • Collaborate with Staff: Work closely with permanent staff to support school-wide initiatives and policies
  • Maintain Continuity: Follow lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to ensure continuity of learning

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): A recognised teaching qualification is essential
  • Experience: Previous experience teaching at the primary level is highly desirable
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Classroom Management: Ability to manage a classroom effectively and create a supportive learning environment
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work in different schools and adapt to varying teaching styles and environments
  • Passion for Education: A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to student success
  • Safeguarding: A clear understanding of safeguarding practices and a commitment to promoting the welfare of children
  • DBS Check: An enhanced DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one
  • Driving: A driving license and access to a vehicle are preferred for reaching various school locations
