Job Description:

As a Manufacturing Key Operative - Lairage you will be responsible for unloading, moving and caring for livestock whilst ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare in an efficient and safe manner.

Requirements:

  • Leads high manufacturing standard and maintaining high legal and ethical requirements
  • Has a flexible approach to teamwork and able to adapt to achieve production targets on a daily basis
  • Is willing to work in an environment where you are required to clean animal faeces from pens to maintain hygiene standards
  • Is willing to typically work in varying temperatures in line with the external temperature fluctuations

Nice to have:

  • Previous experience working with and moving livestock in a fast paced environment
  • Have a WATOK (Welfare of Animals at the Time of Killing) qualification/licence
