Key Production Operative (Fish)

• Work as part of the production team, producing high quality products in a safe, efficient and hygienic environment
• Using trained skills, including using a knife to trim fish to a variety of differing specifications
• Aim to reduce waste and improve yield
• Follow all relevant knife safety training at all times to ensure risks are minimised, including wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as chainmail gloves

• Can read, recall and trim to set standard specifications across multiple products and customers
• Is able to work in a fast paced food manufacturing environment, which can be damp and wet with varying temperatures of 8 degrees and below
• Can complete repetitive movement of hands, fingers and wrists for averaging 8-10 hours daily, complying with Health and Safety regulation
• Has completed Food Safety Level 2 (desirable)
• Is able to comply with relevant business and site policies, such as health and safety and food safety standards
