Key Production Operative - Abattoir

• Preparing various duties such as machine operation, basic maintenance, Oracle and other system transactions, stock control and online quality checking, all in line with training
• Working at pace in a safe, efficient and hygienic manner, performing a range of complex tasks
• Completing all relevant health and safety training to make sure that the safest work practices are adhered to

• Is able to work in an abattoir environment
• Can work in temperatures between 2-32 degrees, and in a noisy environment where hearing protection must be worn
• Has some experience in a food manufacturing environment (desirable)
• Is able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as chainmail gloves and maintain concentration when undertaking repetitive work
• Is physically able to lift up to 2.5kg up to a height of 1.7m
• Can complete and comply with relevant business and site policies such as Health and Safety and Food Safety
