Job Description:

We are seeking a key operative / handyman to join a massive military infrastructure project in the Catterick area. As a key operative, you will be the 'go-to' person for the site management team, handling everything from semi-skilled trade support to high-level finishing and site maintenance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Carrying out basic carpentry, masonry, and painting tasks
  • Assisting with hoarding, temporary partitions, and welfare facilities
  • Identifying and rectifying minor defects to MoD standards
  • Providing skilled support to M&E teams during various build phases
  • Ensuring the site remains operational and safe throughout the project

Requirements:

  • Valid CSCS Card (Blue Skilled Worker card preferred)
  • Proven multi-skilled background (knowledge of basic trades is essential)
  • Full PPE and your own basic tool kit for snagging and maintenance
  • A professional attitude and the ability to work in a high-security environment
  • ability to follow job and safety instructions
