Job Description

“Organized Cooperation for Promotion of Occupational Health and Safety in SMEs Project” aims to contribute a holistic and complementary approach to create OHS sustainability at SMEs in OIZs. The Project is designed so as to improve institutional capacity, cooperation mechanisms and awareness of relevant institutions, SMEs, OIZs, employers, employees, OHS Professionals, social partners, Vocational and Technical High School students & teachers. The overall objective (Impact) to which this action contributes is: To strengthen decent work by promoting occupational health and safety in Türkiye. The specific objectives (Outcomes) of this contract are as follows: The quality and efficiency of OSH services in SMEs are improved.

Job Responsibility

  • In charge of the overall management of the project
  • Contribute to the effective implementation of the whole project
  • Responsible for coordination and overseeing the delivery of project activities related to the planning and programming
  • Responsible for the overall quality, coordination, realisation of the activities and outputs, as well as reporting

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in one of the fields of Engineering or Occupational Health and Safety
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English, proven through professional experience, or valid exam score
  • Full computer literacy
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a team leader or managing a team in EU-funded projects
  • Preferably 5 but a minimum of 3 years of experience in projects related with OHS

Nice to have

  • Post-graduate degree (master and/or PhD degree) in the fields of engineering, OHS and project management will be an asset
  • Proven in partnership building and negotiating with governments, employers’, and workers’ organizations will be an asset.
