IKEA For Business Area Key Account Manager responsible for meeting customers, maximizing sales and profitability, and working with the global IKEA team for continued success of the IKEA Concept
Job Responsibility:
Subject matter expert within team for defined metro market
Act as member of selling team and contribute to business plan
Work with key stakeholders to drive integration and business success
Drive acquisition of new business customers
Build long-term relationships with key accounts
Build relationships with key decision makers in construction industry
Prepare offers within tender processes
Lead negotiations in finalization of conditions and prices
Supervise execution of contracts
Oversee management of lead pipeline and conversion rate
Manage after-sales support of key account projects
Promote open collaboration and be role model for IKEA values
Support sustainability initiatives in sales
Requirements:
At least 5 years' experience in sales, customer experience or similar areas
At least 3 years of experience in leading and developing people and teams
Experience from retail, preferably home furnishings or B2B/Key Account Management
Experience in planning, performance improvement and performance measurement
Knowledge of the IKEA brand, culture, values
Good knowledge of the national B2B market environment
Broad knowledge of market trends in relevant B2B segments
Broad knowledge about legislations, requirements and compliance standards in different B2B segments
Fundamental knowledge of sales mechanisms and industry standards
Fluent knowledge of Italian & English languages
