Job Description:

Take ownership of a major WA customer network across construction, mining, and government sectors. Build lasting partnerships and lead strategic account growth with the support of local teams. Work closely with the Sales Manager – Markets while shaping your own success. Use your expertise in tenders, negotiations, and solution-selling in a role that offers both responsibility and flexibility, including ad hoc travel to key customer sites.

Job Responsibility:

Own the customer relationship: Act as the senior point of contact for key accounts, supported by a strong local team. You'll drive long-term strategic engagement across all levels of the customer organisation
Be the face of Coates: Proactively embed yourself within customer businesses to understand their challenges and align Coates' solutions to support their operational success
Think strategically: Develop and execute account growth plans and customer engagement strategies, working closely with internal teams to deliver innovative, value-adding solutions
Drive growth: Identify and act on new project opportunities within existing accounts while also creating pathways to engage new customers across the WA market
Stay connected: Travel across the state as required to visit sites, strengthen relationships, and ensure visibility across all levels of your customer network

Requirements:

Experience selling services into construction, manufacturing, government or related industries
Be a self-starter who thinks strategically to drive results in a performance-driven environment
Have proven negotiation and influencing skills
Tendering and contract management experience
Ability to interpret and analyse data to formulate strategic plans
Demonstrate appreciation for the importance of good stakeholder relationship
