In the position of Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for cooperation with key international retail companies, setting the long-term strategy of the assigned sales channel, planning and executing sales, and managing a team of operational executives to achieve the vision and goals of the sales channel. The position requires knowledge of the FMCG market, experience in negotiation, and team leadership. You’ll be part of a team that believes in doing work that matters — for people and the planet.
Job Responsibility:
Analysis of sales and market potential and defining the right development strategy for each customer in line with the company’s internal strategy
Conducting regular meetings with customers. Negotiating forecasts of sales volumes, turnover, and investments
Ensuring listing of new products in retail chains and managing retail price levels
Creating a promotional plan for each customer and implementing promotional activities
Responsibility for budget utilization – for each customer and overall (sales plan, marketing budget)
Cooperation with customers to ensure proper implementation of agreed conditions or activities in retail stores
Coordination of key account team activities in CZ/SK with other commercial and operational teams
Focus on delivering sustainable profit growth, selling solutions, not just products
Act as a key partner managing short-, medium-, and long-term performance and growth of the assigned sales channel through planned activities
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar position for at least 3 years (FMCG experience is a strong advantage)
Ability to independently conduct business negotiations to achieve results
Experience in building business relationships and excellent negotiation and presentation skills
High degree of flexibility and proactive approach to finding solutions
Pleasant demeanor and strong communication skills
Experience in team leadership and excellent teamwork
Willingness to participate in decision-making
Precision and customer orientation
General knowledge in trade, marketing, and economics
Czech – native speaker, English – advanced
