As our new BDM with KA responsibilities, you will spend 30% of your time nurturing and growing existing Agfa customer accounts and 70% of your time prospecting and building your healthy pipeline funnel, for Agfa Radiology Solutions across the London and the North of England. Your role is pivotal in expanding Agfa Radiology Solutions’ market presence, achieving sales targets, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders within hospitals on your territory. You will be a key member of an experienced and dynamic team in the UK & Ireland, and be key to contributing and collaborating towards the regions continued growth and success of our Radiology Solutions innovative Digital Radiology Xray portfolio.
Job Responsibility:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities: Conduct market research to identify potential clients and develop strategies to approach them
Lead generation and qualification. Generate leads through networking, industry events, and digital channels, and qualify them to ensure they align with the company's target market
Develop and execute strategic plans. Create and implement plans to drive sales growth and expand market presence
Manage and grow relationships with key accounts: Build strong, long-term relationships with key clients to ensure sustained business growth
Develop strategic plans for key accounts: Tailor strategies to meet the specific needs and goals of key accounts, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty
Monitor and analyse account performance: Regularly review account performance and identify opportunities for improvement
Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets and KPIs
Prepare and deliver compelling customer-facing sales presentations
Create and present proposals that effectively communicate the value of Agfa Radiology Solutions
Negotiate and close deals. Handle contract negotiations and close deals to secure new business
Collaborate with internal teams. Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive approach to business development
Ensure Positive Customer Experience. Address client needs and concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
Monitor market trends and competitor activities. Stay updated on industry developments and competitor strategies to identify opportunities and threats
Provide insights and recommendations. Use market analysis to inform strategic decisions and provide recommendations to senior management
Requirements:
Degree level in Science, Business, Marketing, or a radiography / imaging related field or background
Minimum of 3-5 years in sales and business development in the healthcare imaging equipment or medical device capital equipment
Preferable experience in Radiology solutions and/or capital equipment
Strong network within hospitals and relevant departments within the territory
Proficient in strategic selling concepts and/or comparable sales processes and tools
Experienced with planning and developing complex businesses cases within budget limitations
Able to work on multiple tasks and organize your time effectively to achieve your goals and objectives
Analytical mind and a solid process orientation
Entrepreneurial attitude and go the extra mile for our customers
Willing to travel up to 70 % of time prospecting and developing ‘New Business’ opportunities
Strong communication skills (written and oral)
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
A real ‘Hunter’ with a Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
Experience with CRM software and sales performance tools
Strong consultative selling, solution development, negotiation and closing skills
Proficient in building and management of a healthy pipeline funnel
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales plans
