Job Responsibility:
Responsible for driving business development in New Zealand, working closely with internal and external key stakeholders. This includes lead generation, securing engagement with decision makers at prospect accounts, developing and presenting solutions, and moving opportunities through the pipeline to a successful conclusion
Leading the growth ambition in New Zealand and designing a strategy to achieve it
Deploy the SIG value-based selling, commercial tools to win new business in New Zealand
Supports market gains by selling appropriate products and service portfolios to customers in New Zealand
Develops deep long-term relationships with C-Suite and mid-level executives of key accounts
Primary account management responsibility for New Zealand customers
Develop, maintain, and follow up on the business plan and sales targets
Support marketing initiatives including by securing in-depth market knowledge and by maintaining detailed strategic account plans
Support the wider business development activity across the ANZ region as required
Requirements:
Preferred tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline (business admin, marketing, engineering), supported by commercial business management
Experienced and skilled in the areas of sales, organisation, problem solving, and negotiation
Strong networking ability with a proven track record of building and maintaining professional relationships
Experienced in a Business-to-Business environment and working with customers exposed to FMCG markets (packaging industry experience will be advantageous)
