We are partnering with a well-established Canadian food manufacturer to hire a Key Account Manager to support continued growth across foodservice and specialty food channels. This role is responsible for managing key customer relationships, developing new business opportunities, and driving long-term account growth across Canada, with exposure to the US market. The successful candidate will thrive in a relationship-driven sales environment and enjoy working within a mid-sized, entrepreneurial organization where initiative and ownership are valued.
Job Responsibility:
Manage and grow a portfolio of existing key accounts
Develop new business opportunities through relationship-based selling
Build strong partnerships with customers, distributors, and internal stakeholders
Identify growth opportunities within established customer accounts
Support project-based sales initiatives and category presentations
Travel periodically within Canada and the United States to support customer relationships
Maintain accurate sales activity tracking and follow-up
Requirements:
5+ years of B2B sales experience within foodservice, food manufacturing, or distribution
Strong relationship-building and communication skills
Experience working with distributors, brokers, or category managers
Comfortable managing long sales cycles and multiple opportunities simultaneously
Ability to work independently and take initiative in a mid-sized organization
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
