As a member of Baxter’s sales team, you’ll be aligned to one of our global business units and be responsible for new business, developing existing accounts and ensuring patient-centric approach in all your dealings. You’ll work within an assigned geographic area or with specific accounts to achieve or exceed personal and business goals, all in pursuit of our mission to save and sustain lives. In the sales role, you’ll have the opportunity to provide input on new markets and products, manage customer concerns, and collaborate with other teams.
Job Responsibility:
Drive business development by finding opportunities and promoting Baxter’s Healthcare System & Technology portfolio to healthcare providers through a solution-selling approach
Build and sustain trust-based relationships with major hospital accounts to strengthen dedication and reduce competitive risk
Acquire a deep understanding of key customer needs and requirements, ensuring Baxter solutions align with their objectives
Expand relationships with existing accounts by continuously proposing tailored solutions that deliver clinical and economic value
Ensure timely delivery of products and services to customers, maintaining continuity and happiness
Act as the primary communication link between key customers, distributors, and internal teams
Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly to safeguard business continuity
Play an integral role in generating new opportunities that evolve into long-term partnerships
Prepare regular reports on progress, forecasts, and key account metrics for internal and external collaborators
Be accountable for achieving and exceeding sales targets/budgets within assigned territories
Serve as the local expert to Commercial Leaders, Sales Managers, distributors, and customers for assigned product lines
Partner with distributors to strengthen market coverage, ensure alignment with Baxter’s standards, and support their capability development
Collaborate with regional Product Managers to improve product knowledge and proficiency of local teams and distributors through product demonstrations, sales training, and clinical seminars/symposia
Requirements:
Degree in Nursing, Science, Pharmacy, or equivalent experience preferred
A minimum of 8 years managing hospital accounts and engaging in solution selling in the medical devices/equipment field
Established experience in handling a territory/region without supervision
Experience in tender management is an advantage
Demonstrated track record of consistent performance in sales achievement and account growth
Skilled in conducting CME sessions and product training for healthcare professionals
Skill in managing various portfolios and engaging constructively with distributors
