As Customer Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and growing our strategic relationships with key customers. You'll drive sustainable growth, deliver commercial excellence, and ensure our brands continue to delight consumers wherever they shop.
Job Responsibility:
Build strong, trust-based relationships with central purchasing, category, and trade marketing teams of key customers
Lead the creation and execution of Joint Business Plans (JBPs) that align customer priorities with Diageo's strategic objectives
Strengthen long-term partnerships that create mutual value and category growth
Deliver sales, profit, and market share targets in line with Diageo's commercial goals
Lead trade terms, investments, and promotional budgets with agility and accountability
Prepare accurate sales forecasts and collaborate closely with the Demand Planning team
Maximize the visibility, share, and equity of Diageo's brands across off-trade channels
Apply category management principles to optimize shelf layout, product mix, and pricing
Lead customer-specific activations, seasonal campaigns, and digital supports that bring our brands to life
Translate insights from Nielsen, Power BI, and customer data into actionable growth plans
Track performance KPIs, sales trends, and stock levels, and present insights to senior stakeholders
Partner closely with Trade Marketing, Finance, Logistics, and Demand Planning teams
Lead internal processes related to listings, activations, and new product launches
Ensure all commercial activities and agreements are executed in compliance with Diageo's internal policies and the principles of the Turkish Competition Authority (Rekabet Kurumu)
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Economics (or equivalent)
Minimum 5 years of sales experience (preferably in FMCG, managing national key accounts)
Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and CRM systems
Fluent in English
Analytical, strategic thinker who acts with pace, ownership, and results-orientation
Collaborative, customer-focused, and passionate about building brands consumers love
