This position is responsible for maximizing customer (Metro account), SCJ profitability & growth through the development and implementation of sales and marketing programs. Duties of the Key Account Manager include being able to effectively manage multiple and changing priorities, lead times and promotional programs.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and implement strategic annual account business plans in support of achieving pre-established objectives utilizing internal resources (Customer Marketing, Marketing, Category, Retail Coverage, Finance) & customer resources (account data, cross functional account contacts, in-store, eCommerce)
Deliver key targets for account: Net Sales, Profit Margins, Share & Gross to Net
Plan for, track and analyze the distribution, pricing and expenditures related to all account activity
Maximize internal expertise/resources in the development of business/customer plans and resolution of customer issues
Develop and maintain good working relationships with key retailer partners
Requirements:
Minimum 4 years or relevant business experience with a Background in Account Management/Sales
Experience in the consumer goods industry is an important asset
University Degree required, Preferably in Business or Commerce
Strong Communication Skills in both French and English (Written and Oral) required
High Proficiency with Reporting & Forecasting Tools (ie: MS Office, Retail Link, ACN, SAP, PlanIt, Cognos)
Ability to think strategically and Analytical Fact-Based Problem Solving Skills
Ability to Lead Meetings/Teams and Work Independently
Excellent Analytical and Deductive Reasoning Skills
Ability to draw business conclusions, solutions and prepare / make recommendations
Proficiency in Conflict Resolution, Negotiating, Customer Thought leadership & Creating Customer Value
