Job Responsibility

  • Own and develop strategic relationships with key pharmacy customers, acting as a trusted commercial partner
  • Drive profitable growth by developing and executing joint business plans and customer strategies
  • Lead annual negotiations and commercial agreements to maximize value for both Karo and customers
  • Identify growth opportunities through shopper, category, and market insights, translating them into actionable plans
  • Challenge and influence customers to unlock new commercial opportunities and accelerate performance
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Category, Finance, HCP, and Field teams to deliver strong sell-in stories and activations
  • Monitor sales performance, profitability, and key KPIs, ensuring targets are met and exceeded
  • Take ownership of forecasting, planning, and overall business performance of assigned accounts
  • Act as a commercial lead and sparring partner internally, driving decisions that support sustainable growth

Requirements

  • Degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as Key Account Manager in FMCG, Consumer Health, Retail, or Pharmacy—ideally in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • Strong commercial acumen with proven negotiation and account management skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to turn insights into action
  • Solid understanding of category management, shopper behavior, and customer development
  • Experience working cross-functionally in dynamic, matrix organizations
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership and drive for results
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
