The initial purpose of this KAM role will initially be primarily administrative focused, liaising with the internal stakeholders such as production plants, supply chain and product managers to ensure the successful management of all projects from start to finish. Working with the IKAM to manage relationships with the customer, with a long term goal of working more independently and managing the UK relationship on behalf of the IKAM
Job Responsibility
Support the IKAM in the day to day management of the UK account
Help prepare for customer meetings and at times support on international administrative tasks as needed
Attend weekly internal and external meetings with the customers, taking responsibility of creating contact reports/actions list and working with the wider team to ensure tasks are fulfilled in a timely manner
Supporting the IKAM to drive sales and profit through the account by reviewing sales performance data as well as margin analysis
Assist and create calculations for price setting through a Profit Run pricing calculation system as requested by the IKAM
Work closely with the sales coordinator to ensure secure supply of stocks
Gathering market information and analysis as needed
Completion of order confirmation documents for new product setup
Logistic review and approval to ensure they meet customer requirements
Support the IKAM in managing and controlling A&P investments and ensure that Ontex gets value for money for all promotional support given to the customer
Ensure that A&P expenditure is reported monthly to the IKAM to ensure that it is kept within the agreed levels and support in managing any price/order queries
Become an acknowledged expert in Ontex products, categories and customers
Eventually act as the go to person for all information and data on the customer, both from internal and external enquiries
Requirements
Bachelor degree (preferable if Business Economics or Business Administration)
Master degree in Sales or Sales and Marketing will be valuable
Minimum of 2-4 years in FMCG Sales Account Management
Experience in hygienic disposables markets would be an advantage
Experience in the private label market would be an advantage
Fluent English
Graduate calibre
Analytical ability – PC literate and able to crunch numbers, skilled in Microsoft Office tools in general and Excel specifically
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with best in class communication
Diplomacy – must be able to handle apparent conflicting interests
People skills – critical this person can be fully accepted, trusted and “bought into” – needs to be liked, and become “one of the team”
A sense of humour and the ability to work as part of a small but dynamic and dedicated team is essential
Confidence and desire to lead the team
Influencing skills – will need to manage people and get ‘buy in’ from others without having direct authority

High level of business acumen & commercially aware of the decisions taken as well as the impact that they could have on both customer and Ontex’ business
Ability to understand the Business Strategy and look at the “bigger picture”, as well as being able to create and implement winning action plans
