Unox China, a market leader in the production of high-end professional ovens, is seeking a Key Account Manager to join the Unox Sales Team. This figure will report to the Regional Key Account Director, exploring and managing sales opportunities within the QSR, Coffee and Tea Shop market. Unox China is one of the fastest growing subsidiaries of Unox and with an ever expanding team we are looking to add an energetic and motivated Key Account Manager to work across China, based in the regional HQ in Shanghai.
Job Responsibility
Build, maintain and expand strong professional relationships with key decision-makers within QSR chains, coffee shop and tea shop operators, franchise owners, developers, procurement teams, operations leaders, culinary teams, consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders across China
Manage the complete sales cycle from opportunity identification and concept development through product specification, demonstrations, commercial proposal preparation, value engineering, negotiation, order placement and business closure
Develop strategic account plans for selected QSR brands, coffee and tea chains, franchise groups and key stakeholders, establishing clear revenue targets, growth objectives and opportunity pipelines
Identify and develop new business opportunities with domestic and international QSR, coffee and tea brands operating or expanding across China, ensuring early engagement in new store openings, roll-out programs and renovation projects
Provide accurate monthly sales forecasts, pipeline updates and account development plans to support production planning, resource allocation and business decision-making
Coordinate closely with Corporate Chefs, Service, Operations, Marketing, Finance, regional management and the Head Office in Italy to deliver product demonstrations, technical support, commercial proposals and successful project execution
Represent Unox professionally at customer meetings, chain reviews, industry exhibitions, trade fairs and relevant networking events, strengthening brand awareness and market presence within the QSR, coffee and tea retail sectors across China
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Hospitality Management or a related field
Proven experience in Key Account Management, Chain Account Management, B2B sales and/or business development within the QSR, coffee shop, tea shop, foodservice equipment or related industries, with a demonstrable track record of developing and growing strategic customer relationships
Strong understanding of the QSR, coffee and tea chain landscape across China, with established relationships and networks among chain operators, franchise groups, procurement teams, operations leaders and other key decision-makers
Experience managing complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders, from headquarters engagement and product evaluation through commercial negotiation and rollout execution
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at operational, procurement, technical and senior-management levels
Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority and coordinate effectively across a multicultural and matrix-based international organization
Strategic mindset combined with strong execution capabilities, attention to detail, personal accountability and a consistent focus on achieving business objectives and revenue targets
Strong analytical and forecasting skills, with the ability to manage sales pipelines, account plans and business performance metrics
Availability for frequent travel across China, potentially up to 70% of working time, depending on business requirements
Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English, both written and spoken
