Are you ready to shape the future of dentistry and drive real business impact? 3Shape is looking for a Key Account Manager – Lab Solutions (DACH) to lead growth and digital transformation in the dental lab segment across the DACH market. This is a high-impact, field-based role with national responsibility, ideal for a commercially driven professional who thrives on ownership, results, and customer engagement. Based in Germany and reporting to the Country Manager DACH, you will own the Lab business across Germany, Austria and Switzerland, with full responsibility for revenue, pipeline development, and market share growth. You will work closely with dental labs and reseller partners to expand 3Shape’s footprint, drive digital adoption, and deliver strong commercial results.

Job Responsibility:

  • Overall responsibility for the sales performance of 3Shape Lab solutions in the DACH region
  • Achievement of revenue growth, pipeline development, and market share gains
  • Identification and closing of new business opportunities and expansion of existing key accounts
  • Upselling and cross-selling activities across the full 3Shape portfolio
  • Building a solid market and segmentation understanding of the DACH lab market
  • Active support and regular visits to dental labs nationwide to analyze their needs and workflows
  • Positioning the full digital 3Shape ecosystem (scanners, CAD software, LMS, services)
  • Driving digital transformation in the lab and prosthetics segment
  • Representing 3Shape Lab Solutions at events, trainings, and webinars in the DACH region
  • Close collaboration with resellers for successful implementation of sales activities
  • Training, coaching, and supporting reseller sales teams through joint customer meetings
  • Participation in regular business reviews and strategic sales planning
  • Close coordination with local and global teams (marketing, clinical, product)
  • Support of go-to-market activities and product launches
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with dental labs to support lead generation for clinic solutions (TRIOS)
  • Increasing customer loyalty through events, training, and on-site visits

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of sales experience in the dental industry
  • Proven track record in revenue growth and new customer acquisition
  • Experience in key account management and complex sales cycles
  • Knowledge of dental CAD software (e.g., Exocad, Dental System or similar)
  • Very good understanding of digital workflows (lab & clinic)
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluent in English
  • Background or training as a dental technician is an advantage
  • Strong commercial mindset and strong result orientation
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Ability to build long-term customer relationships and act as a trusted advisor
  • High level of ownership and accountability
  • Data- and performance-oriented working style
  • High willingness to travel within the DACH region
