Step into a high impact role as our Key Account Manager – Insurance Replacement! This hybrid role is based in Sydney, giving you the flexibility to work from home and from our centrally located offices in Barrack Place and Sydney Olympic Park. In this client facing position, you’ll be the trusted partner for some of SIXT’s most valuable accounts - driving retention, growth, and exceptional customer experiences. As the key liaison, you’ll get to deeply understand client needs, shape strategic account plans, and bring together internal teams to deliver tailored, revenue boosting solutions. Job Responsibility:

  • Manage an existing portfolio of insurance replacement accounts, including major partners
  • Proactively identify and win new business opportunities in the vehicle replacement rental sector
  • Prepare and deliver sales submissions, reports, tenders, and presentations
  • Collaborate closely with Franchisees to retain and secure national business, ensuring their input in financial and operational decisions
  • Develop strong relationships with authorised panel repair shops and key industry partners
  • Collate and analyse industry data to identify trends, growth opportunities, and maintain up-to-date market knowledge
  • Provide market, industry, and competitive analysis, assessing the viability and financial impact of new opportunities

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience in account management, sales, or business development within the insurance or automotive/rental sectors
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills
  • Strong ability to manage a portfolio of accounts, handle new business, and resolve issues effectively
  • Experience in developing and executing growth strategies
  • Desire to work in an environment where sales targets are exceeded
  • Proven ability to exceed customer expectations in terms of service and product quality
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to contribute to and implement business plans
