The Key Account Manager Export plays a pivotal role in expanding Omega Optix’s international footprint, focusing on strategic markets such Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Benelux countries and support for the UK. This role is responsible for driving sales performance, nurturing relationships with key partners and distributors, and ensuring effective cross-functional collaboration to support business growth. Operating within an export team, the Key Account Manager Export will contribute to the development and execution of regional sales strategies aligned with the company’s objectives and values.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and implement tailored sales strategies for assigned export markets
Monitor market performance and build plans to meet sales targets
Analyse market trends and customer data to identify growth opportunities
Maintain strong relationships with existing partners and distributors
Conduct regular business reviews, meetings, and site visits
Support partners with product knowledge, marketing materials, and commercial guidance
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target regions
Coordinate local agents in the countries and maximise the benefit of their local presence
Engage with local organisations to define effective strategies for approaching new potential clients
Represent Omega Optix at trade fairs, exhibitions, and customer events
Work closely with Marketing to develop and execute localised campaigns
Coordinate with Finance to ensure timely payments and account health
Share market insights and competitor intelligence with internal teams
Communicate with Production on all customer- and product-related topics to ensure smooth operations and alignment
Maintain accurate sales records and reporting tools
Ensure compliance with internal processes and export regulations
Take on other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the direct manager, based on current business needs
Requirements:
Strong international B2B sales experience, preferably in optical or medical devices
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Analytical mindset with a structured approach to planning and reporting
High level of independence, motivation, and results orientation
Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
Flexibility and adaptability to changing market conditions
