SIG is looking for a Key Account Manager DACH to build long-term customer relationships, design strategies, negotiate sales, and manage customer offers within the Food Service and/or Packaging industries.
Job Responsibility:
Customer contact and care: single point of contact to the customer, consult the customer with regards to his/her choices and build a long-term trustful relationship with the customer
Designs a long-term strategy on a yearly basis (in close coordination with marketing) on how to approach the customer based on the technical solutions we are able to propose, designs and owns Customer Roadmaps in collaboration with Marketing Dept
Market knowledge: Understand and anticipate market trends and get insights to define new business opportunities
Networking & Collaboration create relationships at all levels with customers and retailers to seize the opportunity of new projects
Negotiates profitable sales, keeping a focus on high margins e. g. negotiating prices & conditions for packaging material, filling machines, and service and designs offers for filling machines and packaging material
Creates business cases and produces PCT (Project Calculation Tool) to sell them internally
Management of customer offers, from internal approval process to final pitch to the customers
Negotiation and contractualization of proposals and commercial terms
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Engineering, or a comparable technical field
Relevant experience in Sales and/or Project Management, preferably in Food Service and/or Packaging industries
Proven experience in building and maintaining B2B customer relationships, ideally within system-based business models
Experience working in multinational organizations (preferred)
Hands-on experience in Digital Transformation initiatives
Proficient user of SAP, Salesforce, and MS Office, with the ability to work independently and derive data-driven insights
Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
Nice to have:
Ideally extensive experience in the Food service Industry & specifically has prior experience in working with the aforementioned retail food & coffee house chain companies
Additionally, or alternatively experience in packaging industry and or Bag-in-Boy and Spouted Pouch Category
