As a Key Account Manager – Pharmacy, you will take ownership of key customer relationships, delivering and exceeding sales and margin targets while driving sustainable growth across your account portfolio. You’ll play a pivotal role in forecasting, financial planning, category growth, and customer strategy—working closely with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and customers to maximise performance and identify new opportunities. This is a highly visible role where you’ll influence commercial decisions, strengthen partnerships, and make a measurable impact across the business.
Job Responsibility:
Delivering against sales and margin targets while exceeding customer expectations
Building and developing strong, long-term customer relationships
Owning and managing volume and value forecasting across your customer group
Driving improvements in financial performance through customer optimisation and supplier negotiations
Supporting improvements in cash flow, stock holding, and logistics efficiency
Delivering supplier objectives in line with Joint Business Plans (JBPs)
Developing a deep understanding of customer KPIs, retail formats, shopper profiles, and category strategies
Collaborating on forecasting, account planning, and strategic business modelling
Managing customer investment budgets, claims, and invoicing processes
Influencing range, distribution, pricing, and promotional activity
Analysing EPOS and market data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
Monitoring competitor activity and wider market performance
Activating promotions and features across depot and online channels
Producing clear and insightful reports for internal and external stakeholders
Resolving customer queries efficiently while maintaining excellent service standards
Ensuring all activities relating to medicines and medical devices comply with GDP standards
Requirements:
Experience in account management, sales, FMCG, pharmacy, or commercial roles
Strong commercial awareness and a data-driven approach
Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills
The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and forecasting capabilities, including EPOS interpretation
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Confidence working cross-functionally with both internal and external stakeholders
A proactive, self-motivated, and solutions-focused mindset
