Job Description

As a member of Baxter’s sales team, you’ll be aligned to one of our global business units and be responsible for new business, developing existing accounts and ensuring patient-centric approach in all your dealings. You’ll work within an assigned geographic area or with specific accounts to achieve or exceed personal and business goals, all in pursuit of our mission to save and sustain lives. In the sales role, you’ll have the opportunity to provide input on new markets and products, manage customer concerns, and collaborate with other teams.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead distributor partnerships to accelerate Baxter’s Healthcare System & Technology portfolio growth, driving solution‑selling strategies that empower healthcare providers
  • Build trusted alliances with distributor networks, ensuring loyalty to Baxter and positioning us as the partner of choice in the market
  • Shape market success by deeply understanding distributor capabilities, customer needs, and competitive dynamics, then translating insights into winning strategies
  • Unlock growth opportunities by expanding relationships with existing distributors and continuously proposing innovative solutions that meet evolving objectives
  • Champion flawless execution by ensuring distributors deliver Baxter products and services seamlessly and on time to healthcare providers
  • Be the voice of Baxter — act as the critical communication bridge between distributors, internal teams, and customers, ensuring alignment and clarity
  • Safeguard business continuity by resolving distributor or customer issues swiftly and professionally, turning challenges into opportunities
  • Drive long‑term impact by generating new sales opportunities through distributor channels and converting them into sustainable partnerships
  • Deliver insights that matter by preparing regular performance reports, forecasts, and key account metrics for stakeholders
  • Own the numbers — achieve and exceed sales targets/budgets across assigned territories through effective distributor management
  • Educate and inspire distributors by articulating the clinical and economic benefits of Baxter products, enabling them to position solutions confidently to hospitals
  • Be the local expert for Commercial Leaders, Sales Managers, distributors, and customers on assigned product lines
  • Elevate distributor capability by collaborating with regional Product Managers to enhance product knowledge, deliver impactful training, and co‑organize clinical seminars and symposiums

Requirements

  • Degree in Nursing, Science, Pharmacy, or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in distributor management and hospital account handling within the medical devices/equipment industry
  • Proven ability to manage territories/regions independently and strategically
  • Experience in tender management and distributor negotiations is a strong advantage
  • Demonstrated track record of high‑performance sales management and consistent target achievement
  • Skilled in conducting CME and product training sessions for healthcare professionals in collaboration with distributors
  • Ability to manage multiple portfolios and distributor networks simultaneously with agility and focus
