Job Description:

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Key Account Manager – Natural Channel (Canada) to lead and expand our presence across Canada’s natural and specialty retail landscape. This role will own and grow key relationships with retailers such as Healthy Planet, Ambrosia, Goodness Me!, Summerhill Market, and other leading independent and regional natural chains. You’ll play a critical role in both growing distribution and driving velocity, ensuring Blume shows up in-store with strong merchandising, education, and retail partnerships.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own and grow Blume’s Key Accounts in the Natural Channel across Canada
  • Lead relationships with key natural retailers and regional chains
  • Build joint growth plans with buyers and category managers
  • Secure new distribution and expand SKU penetration
  • Support successful new product launches across accounts
  • Identify whitespace opportunities across independent and specialty retailers
  • Weekly visits into stores, building relationships at store level
  • Merchandising and retail education
  • Eliminating voids and securing incremental facings
  • Winning off-shelf placements and secondary displays
  • Ensuring strong promo execution and pricing accuracy
  • Supporting store teams to maximize rate of sale
  • Open new independent and regional natural accounts
  • Grow B2B and wholesale partnerships
  • Reactivate dormant accounts and strengthen reorder cadence
  • Support innovation launches across the channel
  • Identify competitive activity and category trends
  • Flag promotional and assortment opportunities
  • Share insights from buyers and retailers
  • Help shape future sales and launch strategies

Requirements:

  • 3–7 years of CPG sales experience (natural channel strongly preferred)
  • Experience working with natural and specialty retailers
  • A track record of increasing both distribution and velocity
  • Strong buyer relationship skills and retail intuition
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and bias toward action

Nice to have:

  • Has owned a retail channel or major Canadian account
  • Knows how to gain incremental shelf space and secondary placements
  • Understands the balance between brand integrity and commercial execution
