Job Description

If you’re the kind of salesperson who’d rather be on the road than behind a desk, this role gives you that freedom – along with hands-on mentoring from a senior leader who’s built and run successful sales teams internationally. You’ll be joining a global manufacturer with proven technology in the power and data-centre sector. The products compete directly with the big OEMs for reliability but win on price, giving you a clear advantage in every conversation. This isn’t an account-management job – it’s about energy, follow-up and drive. You’ll find your own leads, set your own meetings, and build relationships with distributors and resellers across the UK. In return, you’ll get direct guidance from the Head of UK Data Centre Sales, and the opportunity to carve out a long-term career as the UK business grows.

Job Responsibility

  • Generate new business through outbound calls, LinkedIn outreach and field visits
  • Build relationships with IT distributors, resellers and system integrators
  • Support marketing campaigns and events to increase partner engagement
  • Manage your own pipeline and travel schedule
  • Report directly to the Head of UK Data Centre Sales

Requirements

  • Proven ability to sell – whether from a field, trade, or technical background
  • Relentless follow-up, resilient under pressure and naturally competitive
  • Clear communicator who’s confident face-to-face and on the phone
  • Self-starter who plans their week, manages their diary and delivers results
  • Full UK driving licence and comfortable with regular travel and overnights

What we offer

  • 10% KPI bonus
  • Car allowance during probation, then company car or allowance option
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Pension and private healthcare
  • Clear route into Channel or Key Account Management as the UK team expands
