We're looking for either an experienced Key Account Manager or a high-performing National Account Executive ready to take the next step in their career. This is more than a traditional account management role. It's an opportunity to take ownership of a strategically important and rapidly growing customer portfolio, shape channel strategy, influence commercial outcomes and make a meaningful impact within a high-performing FMCG organisation. Reporting to the National Business Manager – Woolworths & Alternative Channels, you'll lead customers including Costco, Aldi, Kmart, Big W and other emerging retail partners, driving sustainable growth across some of Australia's most diverse retail models.
Job Responsibility
Managing and growing Alternative Channel customers including Costco, Aldi, Kmart, Big W and emerging retail partners
Developing and executing Joint Business Plans
Delivering sales, profit and market share objectives
Managing forecasting, pricing, promotional investment and trade spend
Identifying ranging, distribution and innovation opportunities
Building compelling customer sell stories and commercial proposals
Leading range reviews, customer negotiations and annual planning processes
Partnering cross-functionally to successfully execute customer plans
Requirements
FMCG sales, account management or national account experience
Strong commercial acumen across trade investment, pricing, forecasting and profitability
Experience managing customer relationships and delivering growth outcomes
A passion for negotiation, customer influence and commercial problem-solving
Strong analytical capability and confidence using customer and market data
A proactive mindset, strong ownership mentality and a genuine desire to make an impact
Nice to have
Experience managing Alternative Channels, Grocery, Costco, Aldi, Kmart, Big W or similar retail customers
Experience using Circana, Nielsen, Aztec or similar market data platforms
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Marketing or a related discipline
