As a member of Baxter’s sales team, you’ll be aligned to one of our global business units and be responsible for new business, developing existing accounts and ensuring patient-centric approach in all your dealings. You’ll work within an assigned geographic area or with specific accounts to achieve or exceed personal and business goals, all in pursuit of our mission to save and sustain lives. In the sales role, you’ll have the opportunity to provide input on new markets and products, manage customer concerns, and collaborate with other teams. The Key Account Leader is responsible for driving revenue growth Connected Care Solution business giving close and thoughtful attention to profitability of each deal and updating accurate information regularly onto our CRM system. The incumbent will also be responsible for assigning, evaluating, assessing and managing new and existing business partners in the assigned area of competency. The person in the role will be the main commercial point of contact (pricing, deliveries, commercial release, etc.) and a holistic multiplicator like i.e. for financial escalations (payments terms and conditions, accounts receivables, etc.), due diligence, trainings, audits, quality ... .
Job Responsibility:
Implement successfully annual business plan, long range plan and strategic priorities
Represents the company at local events and manages relationships with key local stakeholders
Drive sales growth by understanding market’s needs and developments
Encourage, Motivate, Support and Manage business partners in the assigned area
Act as a Commercial Product Expert, being able to present and position the right mix of products and solutions to win deals
Develop and implement relevant strategies
Monitor and communicate sales plan status to the appointed partners in the region
Provide maximum accuracy in monthly forecasting using the CRM system regularly
Monitor regional training requirements for sales and service personnel of the local business partners and ensure all necessary needs are planned proactively with the Marketing team
Facilitate communication for business partners with other internal functions (Marketing, Finance, Order entry, QARA, etc.).
Requirements:
Experience in managing indirect sales channels is desired
Business education is an advantage
3-5 years of professional clinical and/or sales experience is an advantage
Experience in hospital environment is an advantage
Experience of tendering procedures is an advantage
Fluent English language skills (spoken and written) mandatory
Other language skills (Croatian, Serbian, Slovenian) preferred
Willing to work and travel independently for extended periods in the assigned region
Ability to negotiate at all levels
Self-management and organizational skills
Able to articulate, promote and present our strategies in a clear and engaging manner to partners
Great team player able to work within a corporate matrix organization.
