As a member of Baxter's sales team, you'll be aligned to one of our global business units and be responsible for new business, developing existing accounts and ensuring patient-centric approach in all your dealings. You'll work within an assigned geographic area or with specific accounts to achieve or exceed personal and business goals, all in pursuit of our mission to save and sustain lives. In the sales role, you'll have the opportunity to provide input on new markets and products, manage customer concerns, and collaborate with other teams.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver successfully annual sales targets as outlined in the Sales Plan
Build and sustain a comprehensive grasp of the assigned product group, covering features, functionality, pricing, and warranty
Foster strong working relationships with other company functions to ensure a flawless sales process and provide comprehensive support for pre- and post-sale activities
Engage with peers across Sales and other functions to share skills and knowledge
Proactively identify and follow up on new and existing business opportunities
Conduct effective training for distributor sales teams on the full range of connected and networked products, ensuring proficiency in selling Baxter products
Establish and lead reference accounts, coordinating pricing, product installation, and support, while maintaining relationships with key collaborators and decision-makers
Act as a project manager, driving and running technology evaluations and delivering sales-generating technical solutions for large opportunities or installations
Advise on competitive products and services to help build strategies for defending and growing market penetration
Requirements:
University degree or equivalent experience and a proven sales experience in the Medical Equipment industry, delivering sales goals and quotas
Experience in delivering successful presentations to large, cross-functional, and multi-level audiences, including senior executives
Solid understanding of the designated product line, business strategy, and competitors
Ability to handle multiple priorities with minimal mentorship
Proficiency in understanding and communicating the workflow implications and benefits of assigned products
Ability to train, motivate, mentor, and influence peers and team members
Strong customer focus and problem-solving skills
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English and the local language
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Willingness to travel a minimum of 80% and possess an unrestricted driver's license
