This Key Account Executive opportunity has become available due to an internal promotion, reflecting Vitaco’s commitment to developing and progressing talent within the business. Reporting to the National Business Manager –Convenience & New Business, the role sits within our Specialist Sales team and provides key account management support to the Petrol and Convenience business. The role supports promotional, marketing, and administrative activities to assist in delivering sales strategies and growth plans for this fast-growing channel. With a strong focus on relationship building, this position is also responsible for the day-to-day sales and management of Unstructured Route, Vending, and Sports & Fitness accounts, ensuring opportunities are identified and maximised across these customer groups. This is a commercially focused, collaborative role offering exposure to key customers, field sales teams, and end-to-end sales execution.
Job Responsibility:
Meet or exceed sales targets across Unstructured Route, Vending, and Sports & Fitness accounts
Present activity and new products, review performance, provide category insights, and support the development of category plans
Negotiate ranging, discounts, and promotional activity, while gaining and sharing competitor insights
Negotiate plans, manage trade spend, and support the development of effective promotional plans to deliver budgets
Build, nurture, and strengthen relationships with key customers
Act as the key point of contact for all new and existing account queries, orders, and product information
Support the development and delivery of Petrol and Convenience business plans and promotional programmes
Provide administrative and coordination support to ensure compliance across the Petrol and Convenience channel
Act as the primary point of contact and support for Sales Representatives operating within the Independent Petrol and Route channels
Manage processes associated with promotions, new product sell-in, and product launches, including the creation and distribution of trade, promotional, and point-of-sale materials
Support the planning, coordination, and attendance of Petrol and Convenience trade and supplier shows
Requirements:
At least two years’ experience in fast-moving consumer goods or the Sports & Fitness industry
preferably with exposure to key account management and field sales
Strong interpersonal skills, with demonstrated strengths in presentation, negotiation, and influencing
Strong prioritisation, time management, analytical capability, and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
experience with IRI or Nielsen software is desirable
