The Tax Specialist will be responsible for supporting the Tax Manager in overseeing all aspects of tax compliance and reporting for all the entities within the Group. This individual will work closely with other departments to ensure that tax-related activities are executed effectively and efficiently. The Tax Specialist will also stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for tax savings. The individual will need to demonstrate high sense of ownership, strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to manage multiple assignments and work under tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills in both Korean and English is a must.
Job Responsibility:
Understand and control all aspects of Tax from CIT, VAT, Customs and TP and ensure the reports required by the Kering Group Tax are accurate and complete
Identify potential risks and determine the relevant exposure for all the local entities across the Group in Korea
Review tax provision and DTA/DTL according to group policy
Review all tax reports, and ensure timely and accurate tax filing and payment (including VAT, WHT, Custom duties, CIT and BEPS documents)
Assist in ACVA engagement and review ACVA annual reports, including voluntary amendment
Assist in APA engagement and follow-up including APA annual reports and TPA
Review TP Adjustments to meet the Group target profitability and ensure arm's length nature of all IC transactions
Review BEPS documentation and ensure timely submission of all the documentations required by the law
Provide advice to the brands on tax implications of various transactions and business activities, as internal service provider
Stay up-to-date with relevant tax changes and compliance with new regulations
Maintain close coordination with Group tax team and local brands
Be able to work effectively and efficiently with external tax service providers
Ensure accurate and timely reporting to internal stakeholders and the direct report
Support in research and analysis of tax laws and regulations specific to the luxury industry to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for tax savings
Assist with tax-related audits and inquiries, including responding to information requests and defending tax positions in the context of the luxury industry
Maintain close coordination with Group tax team and the brands across Kering Group in Korea
Foster a positive and productive work environment

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 6 years of experience in Tax/Finance field
Practice in a corporate environment or tax firm
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Strong inter-personal skills and attention to detail
Must have high sense of ownership and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
