Job Responsibility:

  • Risk Management: Conducting high-quality assessments to manage individuals within the community
  • Supervision: Managing a caseload of individuals on Community Payback Orders (CPOs) and statutory licenses
  • Reporting: Preparing robust reports for the Courts and the Parole Board
  • Intervention: Delivering evidence-based interventions to address offending behavior and support rehabilitation
  • Collaboration: Working closely with Police Scotland, health services, and third-sector partners

Requirements:

  • Valid and up-to-date LSCMI (Level of Service/Case Management Inventory) certification is mandatory
  • Current registration with the SSSC (Scottish Social Services Council)
  • Proven experience working within a Scottish Justice Social Work setting
  • Strong analytical skills for risk assessment
  • Ability to engage with service users in a firm yet empathetic manner
