Are you an experienced Social Worker looking for a high-paying role with a modern, flexible work schedule? We are seeking a qualified Justice Social Worker to join a dynamic Community Justice team in Glasgow. This position is perfect for a practitioner who excels in risk management and is looking to reclaim their Fridays (or Mondays!) through a 4-day condensed work week. Working within the Glasgow Community Justice framework, you will focus on the supervision and rehabilitation of individuals within the community. Your expertise will help reduce reoffending and manage public safety effectively.

Job Responsibility:

  • Overseeing individuals on Community Payback Orders (CPOs), Drug Treatment and Testing Orders (DTTOs), and statutory licenses
  • Utilizing evidence-based tools to determine risk levels and service needs
  • Preparing high-quality Social Enquiry Reports (SERs) and providing professional representations in court
  • Collaborating with Police Scotland, health professionals, and local support services to ensure holistic care and supervision

Requirements:

  • Fully trained and proficient in LS/CMI (Level of Service/Case Management Inventory)
  • A Degree in Social Work and current SSSC registration
  • Proven experience working within a statutory Criminal Justice or Community Justice setting
  • Ability to produce concise, analytical reports under tight deadlines
