Job Responsibility:
Support the Justice and Peace Commission and strengthen justice-focused activity across parishes, schools, and communities
Help shape vision, strategy, and advocacy priorities
Ensure the Commission’s decisions are implemented and communicated across the diocese
Recruit and support a network of Justice and Peace Contacts to facilitate the creation of parish and school groups
Raise awareness of issues ranging from local inequality to global injustice
Support Laudato Si’ initiatives
Represent the organisation at events
Manage communications such as newsletters and diocesan updates
Provide secretariat support to the Justice and Peace Commission
Offer guidance and liaison for parishes, chaplaincies, and schools
Requirements:
Experience in at least one of the following: Catechetical/pastoral ministry, community development, social work, volunteer management, or youth work
Experience in campaigning or advocacy on justice, peace, and life issues
Good project and people management skills
