Job Description

WRP is looking for a talented Junior Video Editor with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling through visual media. The ideal candidate will have experience in resizing, localizing, and editing pre-existing video content, creating engaging cut-downs, and ensuring high-quality outputs that align with our vision.

Job Responsibility

  • Edit and enhance pre-existing video content, ensuring a polished and professional final product
  • Adjust video dimensions and formats to fit various platforms and requirements, maintaining quality and visual integrity
  • Adapt and localize video content for different audiences, including adding subtitles, translating text, and modifying graphics as needed
  • Create concise cut-down versions of longer videos, emphasizing key messages and maintaining viewer engagement
  • Ensure accuracy in all edits, including checking for consistency in branding, audio levels, and overall quality
  • Work closely with the content and marketing teams to understand project goals and deliver videos that meet their specifications
  • Receive and implement feedback from clients/leads to refine edits and enhance the final product
  • Organize and maintain video assets and project files to ensure efficient workflows

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1-2 years of experience in video editing, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in video editing software
  • Strong understanding of video formats, resolutions, and compression methods
  • Experience in localization processes and tools is a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
  • Strong communication skills and ability to meet deadlines

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with motion graphics and basic animation
  • Experience in audio editing and sound design
  • Knowledge of current trends in video content and digital media
