The IT company Andersen invites a Junior UX/UI Designer in Abu Dhabi to join its team for working with a company from UAE. The customer is a government entity that manages public affairs and oversees various corporate and philanthropic projects. The company is embarking on a transformative digital journey to enhance its operational efficiency and customer experiences. The project focuses on digital transformation in the UAE to develop and support digital solutions, enhance social services, strengthen public engagement, advance international relations, and optimize administrative processes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Taking responsibility for scoping and planning UX projects
  • Engaging with product management, engineering, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors to understand the project
  • Conducting concept and usability testing and gathering feedback
  • Leveraging user research, to make product improvements
  • Developing and presenting documentation, user flows, annotated wireframes, interactive prototypes, personas and other research artifacts
  • Creating and maintaining usability documentation
  • Demonstrating track record with applying best practices in usability heuristics
  • Ensuring that established design standards are consistently and appropriately applied within design work
  • Communicating regularly with the agile development team through development sprints
  • Building a clean and effective user experience
  • Gathering requirements from the product management, engineering, and business stakeholders and being able to build solutions that fit those needs
  • Initiating and carrying out continued user research and discovery
  • Creating and updating user personas, user journeys and site maps
  • Translating concepts into wireframes, prototypes and user flows
  • Solving complex interaction problems, humanizing product ideas and developing these ideas into elegant application design

Requirements:

  • Experience as a UX/UI Designer for 6+ months
  • Deep knowledge of modern UI/UX design processes and human-centred design principles
  • Understanding of UX principles, personas, usability
  • Good communication skills and ownership of identifying design steps from goals and vision
  • Empathy, ability to connect with people and ensure that their needs come first
  • Experience in an Agile environment
  • Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above
