Job Description:

As a Junior Translation Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring that all our content, from product descriptions to newsletters and marketing materials, is accurately translated into Hungarian while preserving Westwing’s distinctive, premium tone of voice. You will adapt texts to resonate with Hungarian-speaking audiences, ensuring both linguistic and cultural relevance. This position is unlimited and based in Warsaw or remote in Poland.

Job Responsibility:

  • Translate content accurately from the source language into the target language while maintaining meaning and quality
  • Preserve the original tone of voice and style to engage and resonate with Westwing customers
  • Adapt translations to the local market, culture, and target audience
  • Proofread and edit content to ensure grammatical accuracy, clarity, and consistency
  • Ensure consistent terminology and language use across the website through thorough quality checks
  • Manage time effectively, meeting deadlines under pressure, and leveraging AI tools and technology to continuously improve translation quality

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience with text editing and proofreading
  • Excellent Hungarian skills (native level)
  • Very good command of English
  • Sound knowledge of linguistic and stylistic correctness
