Job Description

The I-Talent Program at Scania is an inspiring six-month journey designed for newly graduated IT students with a passion for innovation and sustainability. You’ll gain hands-on experience in a specialized IT role, access to training, and the opportunity to collaborate with teams across IT, sales, marketing, and research and development (R&D). The program not only strengthens technical skills but also develops soft skills within a supportive network – all to prepare participants to contribute to Scania’s goal: driving the shift toward a sustainable transport system.

Job Responsibility

  • Plan and coordinate tasks together with your team, where teamwork and pace are prioritized over rigid documentation
  • Lead assignment teams and drive initiatives in cross-brand, cross-country, and multi-language scenarios
  • Join Group or Scania Steering forums to enable discussions regarding results, challenges, risks, and opportunities
  • Play a vital role in building and maintaining relationships with different business areas across the organization
  • Contribute to the long-term enablement of Scania IT and TRATON Group strategy execution

Requirements

  • An academic degree within Industrial Engineering, IT, Computer Science or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of project management methodologies, preferably Agile best practices
  • Strong proficiency in English and Swedish, both written and spoken
  • You are graduating in spring 2026 or have a maximum of two years of work experience when the program starts in September 2026
  • Empathy: You have a strong ability to understand different perspectives
  • Communication: You have the ability and the will to communicate effectively with people from different sites, cultures, and countries
  • Drive: You enjoy taking responsibility and driving tasks forward in a fast-paced environment
