We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Junior Trainer to join our HR & Training Team. This role plays a key part in supporting CSP’s commitment to developing our people by coordinating and managing all internal and external training activity. Working closely with the Technical Trainer, you will take/have full ownership of CSP’s external training arrangements, support the Community Safety Accreditation Scheme (CSAS) process, and help implement streamlined training processes across the organisation. You will also occasionally assist in delivering internal technical training. This position involves both advisory and administrative duties, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a people-focused environment.
Job Responsibility:
Take full ownership and coordination of CSP’s external training arrangements
Manage the CSAS process, including supporting vetting and advising staff and managers
Work closely with the Technical Trainer to create, enhance and implement training processes and best practice
Support the delivery of in‑house technical training as required
Build strong relationships with training providers, Constabularies, vetting service teams, internal departments and senior managers
Liaise with the Staffing team to identify training candidates and coordinate training requirements
Compile and analyse data, producing statistics and regular reports for senior managers
Support the development of the role competency matrix for contracted staff within the Development Hub
Requirements:
Experience working collaboratively within a team and independently
Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Ability to plan ahead, prioritise and adapt to emerging issues
Strong communication skills and professionalism at all levels
High customer service focus and ability to maintain confidentiality
Possession of a full UK driving licence is desirable
