3+ years of demonstrable, direct experience in crude oil operations, scheduling, analysis, or junior trading roles
Strong foundational understanding of the global crude oil market, including key benchmarks (e.g., WTI, Brent), market structure, logistics, and quality specifications
Exceptional ability to interpret market data, analyze trends, assess supply/demand dynamics, and identify potential trading opportunities
Familiarity with managing physical and financial risks associated with crude oil trading and hedging activities
Excellent negotiation, verbal, and written communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.

Job Responsibility

Assisting in the execution of physical crude oil transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to compliance protocols
Continuously monitoring global oil production, storage, refining, and transportation developments to provide timely market intelligence
Working with the operations and scheduling teams to ensure seamless delivery and lifting of cargoes
Accurately tracking daily trading P&L and exposure, reporting on variances and market movements
Building and maintaining strong working relationships with counterparties, brokers, and internal stakeholders
