Yellowknife Tours Ltd. is seeking an outdoor enthusiastic and detail-oriented Tour Operations Agent to join our dynamic team in Yellowknife, NT. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional travel experiences to our guests by managing and coordinating tour operations, ensuring smooth logistics, and maintaining high standards of customer service.
Job Responsibility:
Tour Coordination: Act as a tour guide by planning, organizing, and overseeing a variety of tour packages, including winter adventures such as snowmobiling, ice fishing, Aurora viewing, and cultural experiences with local Indigenous communities
Customer Service: Provide outstanding service to clients before, during, and after their tours. Act as administrative personnel to address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction over email and voice communications
Logistics Management: Coordinate transportation, accommodations, and equipment rentals. Ensure all aspects of tours run seamlessly
Stakeholders Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with local partners, including accommodation providers, venue providers, industry partners, e-commerce businesses, etc
Safety Compliance: Ensure all tours adhere to safety regulations and guidelines. Conduct regular safety checks and briefings
Marketing Support: Collaborate with the Tour Operations Specialist to promote tour packages by providing content materials
Reporting: Prepare and maintain detailed records of tours, including customer feedback, incident reports, and financial summaries
Requirements:
Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Relevant tour operations experience is preferred
Knowledge of Digital Marketing and Communications will be an asset
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Strong software aptitude and fast learner
Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytic skills
Ability to work in a constantly changing, fast-paced work environment
Excellent time-management, organization, and project management skills, with attention to detail from inception through execution
Fluency in English Language (for Asian Market Specialists - Language Preference: Fluent in both Cantonese and Mandarin)
