We are looking for a motivated individual to join our regional law firm client's dynamic litigation team in Phoenix, Arizona. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on engaging insurance defense cases and general civil litigation while developing your skills in a collaborative and supportive environment. Job Responsibility

  • Assist in managing insurance defense litigation cases under the guidance of senior attorneys
  • Conduct legal research and prepare well-crafted motions and briefs
  • Handle discovery processes, including drafting and reviewing documents
  • Collaborate with clients and colleagues to develop strategic case approaches
  • Attend court proceedings and support litigation efforts as needed
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of case files and documentation
  • Work closely with the team to meet deadlines and achieve case objectives
  • Adapt to a hybrid work schedule, maintaining productivity both in-office and remotely

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree and AZ State Bar licensure
  • Strong foundation in civil litigation practices and procedures
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills
  • Ability to draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents effectively
  • Familiarity with discovery processes and document review
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid environment with remote and in-office days
