We are looking for an entry-level Systems Administrator to provide remote technical support to clients while maintaining high standards of customer service. This role involves resolving technical issues, documenting processes, and ensuring smooth communication with clients. You will also participate in on-call rotations and contribute to the maintenance and optimization of various systems.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver remote technical support to clients, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues
Monitor and adhere to established service level agreements (SLAs) while tracking customer concerns
Participate in scheduled after-hours on-call rotations, typically three to four times annually
Utilize tools like ConnectWise for thorough documentation, issue management, and client interaction
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, VLANs, and networking protocols
Manage and support Windows Server Operating Systems and virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V and VMware
Assist in maintaining security measures by working with tools like antivirus software and other security platforms
Provide support and upgrades for PC operating systems, including Windows 11, 10, and 7
Collaborate with team members to complete additional tasks as assigned
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in the IT industry, with a focus on system administration
Proficiency in PC operating systems, particularly Windows 11, 10, and 7
Working knowledge of Windows Server Operating Systems and virtual environments such as Hyper-V and VMware
Skilled in network troubleshooting, including firewalls, switches, VLANs, and networking protocols
Familiarity with security tools and antivirus solutions
Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and team members
Strong problem-solving abilities with a creative approach to challenges
Preferred certifications such as A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft 365, or equivalent
