Job Description

We are looking for an entry-level Systems Administrator to support end users and help maintain reliable desktop and workstation environments. This contract-to-permanent opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical issues, setting up equipment, and ensuring employees have the tools they need to work effectively. The role combines hands-on troubleshooting with day-to-day system support across hardware, software, and user access needs.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide day-to-day technical support for employees by diagnosing and resolving issues related to computers, software applications, and peripheral devices
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop systems to ensure dependable performance and readiness for business use
  • Support user account administration and access management within Active Directory environments
  • Troubleshoot Windows 10 workstation problems, applying fixes and updates that improve stability and usability
  • Assist with the upkeep of Microsoft Windows Server environments under the guidance of senior IT staff
  • Set up, image, and deploy hardware and related equipment for onboarding and replacement needs
  • Respond to support requests through multiple communication channels, documenting issues and solutions accurately
  • Help maintain Citrix-based access and address user connectivity or session-related problems as they arise

Requirements

  • Experience supporting end users in a desktop or systems administration capacity
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory, including basic account and access management tasks
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server and Windows 10 administration and troubleshooting
  • Hands-on experience with desktop, laptop, or workstation hardware
  • Exposure to Citrix technologies and the ability to assist with user access issues
  • Ability to identify technical problems, prioritize requests, and deliver timely resolutions
