Job Description:

The SQL Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Job Responsibility:

Perform data lineage analysis, mapping data flow between systems (source to target)
Identify and document physical and logical data elements, including Critical Data Elements (CDEs) per regulatory or business criteria
Analyze existing data models, source systems, and integration layers to extract metadata
Actively contribute to data governance initiatives

Requirements:

Proficient in Java, SQL, data profiling, and data mapping tools
Understanding of logical and physical data models, data dictionaries, and metadata management
Experience working on projects involving data transformation, system integration, or data warehousing
Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders
Business knowledge of Financial Markets, Trading, Middle Office and Back Office function
Knowledge of GitHub/Version Control Systems, Kafka
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
Experience the Financial Service industry is preferred
