Oversee the daily operations of the Banquets kitchen
Ensure seamless preparation and execution across all events
Focus on consistency, quality, and presentation
Ensure every dish reflects sophistication while meeting and exceeding guest expectations
Assist in menu planning, production preparation, and stock control
Ensure operational readiness for each function
Confidently lead shifts and execute dishes to specification
Maintain exceptional culinary standards in high-volume, fast-paced environments
Set the tone in the kitchen
Foster a culture of professionalism, collaboration, and continuous development
Support performance growth, monitor productivity, and mentor team members
Partner with Food & Beverage leaders and Event teams to deliver flawless event experiences
Requirements:
Qualification in Commercial Cookery
Genuine passion for gastronomy
Strong understanding of food safety standards and HACCP
Clear and confident communication
Professionalism and pride as a representative of Sofitel
Proven experience in a five-star or luxury hotel setting
